Review of Parental Guidance (2012) by Alan W — 16 Apr 2013
Inflight entertainment #3: I know, I know... it is predictable, formularic if not cliched, and one of those family comedy drama thing with annoying kids and Midler and Crystal are probably a bit passed it by now but on the small screen (and free) - it is surprisingly watchable and charming in an old fashion way and there are moments of comedy (Crystal's cumudgeonly schtick is old but works) that are actually funny and relatable.
Something that's should be dire on paper but actually will surprise you if one manages one's expectations (in this case: not much) and if you got time to kill on a plane.
