While the only reason to see this film is because of the performances of Bette Midler and Billy Crystal, the actors were somewhat successful in entertaining their fans. From the predictable plot to the overbearing one-liners, this film was a hot mess.

But when watching this with a child, I see nothing but smiles and laughs. While this film half-heatedly entertained the adults, the kids are the ones who truly enjoyed it. I rather enjoyed the film too when I set aside my mind and just watched.

While the film was not much of a hit, it is certainly a family must see!
