Review of ParaNorman (2012) by Paul J — 23 Feb 2013

A fantastic stop-motion movie that definitely pushes the envelope regarding the scare factor. Small children will undoubtedly be terrified. The visuals are jaw-dropping and the story and characters are extremely entertaining.

It's a huge step forward from Coraline and the message regarding bullying and forgiveness is powerful and much needed for young people. I couldn't believe how much I loved the characters, writing and references to horror movies.

They took many chances and I applaud them for that. Masterfully done.
