A marginal improvement on the last of the Paranormal Activity films, 'The Marked Ones' continues to rely on predictable scares that were already tired by the time 'Paranormal Activity 2' came out.
The filmmakers are obviously attempting to be clever with the 'twist' that we see towards the end, but the result is simply illogical. Some scenes were entertaining solely because they were unintentionally funny.
