Review of Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014) by Mark C — 27 Mar 2014

Once the movie starts off, you're laughing your head off. There are genuinely funny things over and over again. And then, when you least expect it, the whole movie turns dark, twisted, and terrifying.

There is a suicide that takes place, and it lets you know what you're in for. From the beginning, I have always found this series controversial due to the depictions of Satanism it has. Paranormal Activity The Marked Ones goes dangerously deep into the topic.

Also, the film is cleverly made to frighten the key audience (Age, not race). And then comes the ending! This ending is completely shocking, jaw-dropping, jump out of your seat terrifying in every single way.

You will not see it coming. Although it does have it's issues (Mediocre acting, some predictable jump scares, a bit on the short side), Paranormal Activity The Marked Ones is the outstanding film of the series and is a must-watch for all you Paranormal Activity fans.
