Review of Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014) by Chris N — 07 Apr 2014

The 3rd act has some scenes that I will admit are genuinely creepy and the tension built in those scenes are quite good, and also it's refreshing to see a Paranormal Activity film with a much more original premise.

But this film still has some of the biggest problems with most found-footage horror these days: severe pacing issues and way too much time spent with stupid characters doing stupid things. It also doesn't help that some of the more interesting parts of this story are so goddamn half-baked and never really touched upon.

Also that ending was just horseshit, who the hell came up with that idea?
