The final nail in the series coffin. The filmmakers fail to realize that the appeal of the original and the majority of its sequels was the low budget effects. Scares that were generated from sound effects and camera movements.
State of the art 3D effects do not sit well with a film that is still trying to capture the magic of the original. Avoid.
