Review of Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (2015) by Adicta G — 23 Oct 2015
Using a special camera that can see spirits, a family must protect their daughter from an evil entity (TOBY) with a sinister plan. To become human form.
VERDICT: Well it's finally here, the conclusion to the Paranormal Activity series. Ive been a fan of these films ( well the first 3 ) since I watched the 1st one. Which I loved and is the best one. But they have faltered after the 3rd one and become kind of boring and lame. I hated the last two films as they offered nothing too the franchise and to be honest I only went too see this to see how they would finally end it. Did they? well kind of but I still feel kind of let down by how they ended it. Don't get me wrong it is a much better film than the last two but I still feel they could of ended it better than what they did. One thing I didnt like is that there was no adult Katie in it. Why? also the film was too short. The acting was ok and CGI was good but they used the same formula around the jump scares and while they are fun and I did jump twice they were predictable. Overall I feel they tried their best too answer the many questions the series had and what fans wanted but feel they missed a good opportunity too finally end the series on a high. What started off as a great premise all those years ago should now end I feel.
Movie Rating: 6/10.
Series Overall Rating: 7/10.
