The franchise is fast running out of steam and comparisons drawn between this and other money-grabbing, plot-stretchers such as the saw films are fairly close to the mark.
On the other hand, an acceptable watch with all the usual cheap thrills and suspense, lifted slightly by some decent acting. Only slightly better than your average offering of horror being served up in cinemas these days.
