Review of Paranormal Activity 4 (2012) by Sanal R — 01 Nov 2013

The acting isn't bad, but the story is crap. They desperately tried to tie in the story to the events of the last film. Here's how I think the writers came up with the story: "Hey, what are we going to do for the next film?" "Ummm...how bout we show them years later haunting their neighbors" "Sounds good! Let's start filming...we can just write it as we go.".

The scares are few and far between. All of these movies are the same, it's a ton of nothing with scares every 15 minutes or so and then the last 5 minutes of the film are exciting. However, this is by far the worst ending of the series so far. It ends really abruptly and leaves you thinking - 'that's it'?!?

This series is running on fumes and hopefully they'll at least slow down on how often they release these.
