Review of Paranormal Activity 4 (2012) by Bailey G — 06 Mar 2014

(An hour of my life I cannot get back).

First off, I don't know what the filmmakers in Hollywood are doing. I hope the horror fans and Paranormal Activity fans don't want to see a new Halloween franchise come out. Why? Some may ask. Because this is not a Halloween franchise or a slasher franchise of any kind. To me this is the third film. The real third film is just pointless and unnecessary.

In the fourth film it gets boring very soon. No spookiness or scares, just the same old crap happening again. I am a huge film goer, a huge horror fan and I love it when a film does well and one or two sequels are made. People the filmmakers need to break in some common ground here for a storyline. I hope were not repeating a trend to these horror franchises: Halloween, Friday The 13th, A Nightmare On Elm Street and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. If this is the case I'm done with this film. I totally agree with the audience on this one. It's a crappy movie and it's just repeating the same old things the first three films did that came before it. Overall terrible ending, corny and boring look of a film (You can only did it two times). Also this film lacks scares as I've said before. The only thing that was okay was the acting. But, do not buy this film by any means. That's just my opinion though.
