"Paranormal Activity 4" is a surprisingly creepy, effective and highly entertaining movie that surpasses all its predecessors on almost every level possible. The movie is cleverly put together, combining a young cast with modern technology in order to appeal to the target group that the franchise was meant for all along.

It is in no way original or intense - instead it uses humor and self-awareness to make the characters likable and relatable instead of boring and annoying, and that is exactly why this latest installment is as good and enjoyable as it is.
