Review of Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) by Bryce R — 27 Oct 2012
So, if you are curious as to what follows the girls as they are older, or why they are freaked in the head, this one gives you a slight indication and knowledge of their family history.
I just find it so odd that in the scope of the series, #3 relates back to both #1 and #2 in the simple actions in the first part of this film. (spoiler alert) At the beginning of #3, the sister that just had a baby in #2 is pregnant. The sister that is the focus of #1 is getting ready to move in with her boyfriend (the house in #1).
Personally, it feels like #3 should have been #1, #1 should have been #2, and #2 should have been either #3 or intertwined with what was originally #1. The concepts of why these two women are experiencing anything is jumbled in its current relation.
On a side note, my son & I both noticed where the scenes we were watching did not equal the same scene as shown in previews. We noticed at least 2-3 differences and were wondering why it was changed.
