Could've been so great. Going back to the beginning of the curse is always a good thing for a film like this, but not when its done very badly. That subtle creepy noise that happened before an event is removed and takes away any suspense.

You are constantly looking for anything creepy to happen and when it does is obvious, camera pans away, moves back into frame, something bad happens blah blah. As its a prequel you know it doesnt end well as its a prequel, but its done half assed, why is there a group of people hiding out in a place the Grandmother's house, why is the grandmother even in on it?? I hate being drip fed plot points in bad movie series, just to make some bloody money off the back of the public.

I wont be bothering with '4' as this is turning into utter drivel.
