Review of Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) by Stefano C — 10 May 2014
I can't believe critics rate it decent... half of the "scary scenes" are so because of the dumb characters running around the house for no reason. Most of the ramaining are very bad, for the tension is most often softened by moving objects or so, which make you think: "Oh, I've seen this before, scary 'BOOM' in 3.
..2...1..." The plot is senseless and poor. The key element of the final is predictable at a good 10 minutes before it's revealed. The fact that the protagonist keeps holding the camera in the end is barely absurd.
The cliché of the little girl's face is just ridiculous. Another "horror" movie where more importance is given to high-volume, low-frequency scary sounds than to building a solid plot that could cause anxiety even after the vision.
2/10.
