Low-budget doesn't mean poor quality. Paranormal Activity proves that by relying solely on its technical work to mimic a form of horror in human nature: of spirits, ghosts, and poltergeists. What is great about Paranormal Activity is it takes ghostly found footage combined with a timid documentary-style of its subject matter and creates a suspenseful, tense, and mysterious work of art.
