A weak attempt at a prequel/sequel to a film that needed no such thing. The parameters might be different here, but otherwise everything about it is predictable and vapid. Even the explanations and new questions to the events of the first film are generally wasted time.
Clearly the producers were eager to make a few bucks off of the first film's success.
