Roger Ebert aptly identified the character of this film when he called it "an efficient delivery system for Gotcha! Moments." It is an enjoyable movie-going experience, but there is little substance to the development of the plot.
The pace is questionable, and the effect of ending is marred by this film's poor attempt at being both prequel and sequel. With that said, the moments of shock and suspense might be enough to make this movie worth its ticket price.
