Review of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) by Nik M — 11 Sep 2012
This time around, there's more cameras and more silence, stressing our eyes to focus on the countless objects in each frame. The subplot of the daughter's research in paranormal activity and supernatural, demonic traditions is very unnecessary and puts the whole film's believability and the audience's suspension at risk.
However, the information is needed for minimal plot elements. It isn't as frightening as the first, but it does possess a grip on audiences in theater viewing.
