Review of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) by Zane G — 26 Jun 2013

Paranormal Activity 2 is back but not as better as the first one.

This sequel takes place a few months before the events of the first film. Characters such as Katie and Micah are back. Katie's sister Kristi has had a baby named Hunter. Her husband, who is is viewed as a likeable lug husband named Daniel who owns several fast food joints. As the entire family gets used to the new arrival, strange noises are heard late at night and when they come home from am outing, they discover that the house has been trashed, even though nothing valuable was stolen. As spirits get louder and angrier, especially when Ali begins doing research on the subject, these demons just won't stop.

I loved the first Paranormal Activity and I'm sure a lot of people do to, but this isn't anywhere close to being better then first film. I still enjoyed this one, but it doesn't have the real terror that the first one featured. This movie does feature creepiness, dark and gritty scenes and that's all amazing. Some new faces are in seen in this and there all great. In my way, I really don't have that much to say about this movie other then saying it's just pretty damn scary.
