Review of Paranoid Park (2007) by Colin W — 30 Jul 2008
Compared to Gus Van Sant's similarly themed/styled Elephant, Last Days, and Gerry, it is my least favorite. But it still holds the signature lovely cinematography, tranquil sound design, and scattered moments of hypnotic beauty that are found in all his films.
It's also one the more accurate depictions of teenage life not usually found in today's films.
