Review of Paranoid Park (2007) by Michael M — 29 Oct 2008
A thin, ridiculous plot that should've taken 15 minutes to cover --van sant however, manages to stretch the movie into an hour and a half long bore of a film. he achieves this brilliant effect by taking shots of the protagonist walking down the hall--that should be taking up the screen for 5 seconds, maximum--and making them last 30+ seconds.
Oh yeah--i forgot to mention how bad the acting is.
It's really bad.
