Review of Paranoid Park (2007) by Sarah S — 06 Nov 2008
Definitely a film for the younger set, and certainly for those who've taken their Ritalin. In typical Van Sant fashion, the film is full of long drawn out sequences of the mundane - a person walking down a hallway for example, coupled with some beautiful music.
It takes its time, but once it arrives, it's right in your face. The storyline was fine, it was the delivery that didn't appeal.
