Review of Paranoid Park (2007) by Ignacio A — 06 Mar 2009
Paranoid Park is a film about a teenager struggling to deal with a death he may have caused. This is my first Van Sant movie, and I have to say I was more than a little underwhelmed. The film is slowly paced, weakly acted, and complete with bizarro soundtrack.
We're getting into some pretty artsy-fartsy territory here. It's something I can appreciate, but not enjoy.
