Review of Paranoid Park (2007) by James J — 16 Apr 2011

Didn't really like it or find it compelling, I do admit that I probably should watch it again but I'm not overly compelled to sit through itr unless I can't sleep due to insominia. Oh, I don't have much to say about the movie, except seemingly pretty cliched at some points and almost none of the characters had any real personlity they were all the most steriotypical kind of teenagers that only exsist in people that spend too much time around other adults and don't know or try to have real insight into them, other than trite observances.

.. kind of tone deaf for such an arty -usually read perceptive- director I think, you can tell when only a few of the adult characters seem to be -somewhat believable. Was hoping I'd like it-didn't.
