Review of Paranoid Park (2007) by Cece L — 22 Oct 2008
There are pieces of a really good film here, and when Elliott Smith starts playing in the background you can't help but feel like you're watching something beautiful and moving. Unfortunately, the film is populated with mostly non-actors--blank-faced, self conscious kids trying really hard not to look at the camera.
