Review of Paranoia (2013) by Guido S — 28 Dec 2013
Liam Hemsworth is a young worker trying to make it big at his company, when his pitch for a new product fails miserably, he takes it out on his boss by using the funds he was given for his project to have a night on the town.
When his boss finds out, he gives him an option to work for their competitor to discover what they are working on. This has been done so many times. It started off decent, but it was just ridiculous. I find it hard to believe all the 'suits' are healthy looking middle-aged men who look fit and healthy, while the youth are all models that fell out of an fashion catalog.
It just isn't believable in any stretch by the actors or the script. It follows the tropes you would expect and doesn't get interesting. There's a lot of good actors here, but they couldn't make this interesting.
