Review of Paraiso Travel (2008) by David L — 17 Apr 2009

This movie in phenomenal. I can't say enough about it. it's a columbian film about a young couple who go to extreme lengths to travel to the usa but when they finally make it there they lose each other. GAHH! I love it. everything is perfect about this movie, from the highly realized and developed themes, gripping plot, and interesting and dynamic characters. even the smaller roles in the movie are written and casted perfectly, my favorite would have to be john leguizamo as roger pena, a crazy landlord with an s&m fetish and a stuttering problem. LOL. aldemar correa is not only super sexy (!) but he brings the character marlon to life and you can't help but fall in love with this young, scared boy who finds himself all alone in the one of the biggest city's in the world: nyc. warning! this movie is pretty graphic, there's a lot of nudity and a couple sex scenes that are pretty HOTT. I mean, the opening shot takes us thru a nyc hostel and within the first minute we've seen boobies, a couple having raw sex and a guy masturbating. so don't take your kids!

I just love love love it! go see it! NOW! (i'll go with you!).
