Review of Paradise Now (2005) by Saf H — 12 Jun 2007
This film is a MUST SEE. Having seen it three times, I can say every time I watch it I become more convinced that it condemns the acts of suicide bombers, and anyone who takes something else from it is watching with their eyes open but their hearts and minds closed.
The movie conveys the desperation of the Palestinian situation, with almost everything taken from them and their dignity stripped, but simultaneously demonstrates the absolute necessity for nonviolent resistance.
An elegant, well-made movie.
