Somehow the blind survivor of a wreck at sea washes ashore a tropical island where a nubile native woman takes a liking to him. Can their forbidden love overcome the forces against them? You already know, but the trip finding out isn't so very terrible.

There's some tension as well about taboo pearl-diving, but it's only to take a breather from the main action. Now ... look at all that beautiful South Sea scenery!
