Review of Paradise Alley (1978) by James H — 27 Dec 2006
Sylvester Stallone's success with Rocky the year before really went to his head on this clunker. He is such a megalomaniac, he had his hand in just about everything on this film, he even sings the opening credit's song! And badly at that! Well produced, money went into the film, but it is a poorly written story with a complete lack of period detail.
Just Stallone making crap on a high from a previous success.
