Satoshi Kon is a genius. It's not often I forget I'm watching an animation - but I found myself doing just that with this movie. High concept plot, great animation - sure, it's confusing, but you get confused WITH the characters rather than get left behind.
A must see, but not for little kids - violence, nudity and freakishness await. Brilliant, and on a par with Gladiator in my movies list.
