Review of Paprika (2006) by Calvin W — 23 Nov 2010
A visually supercharged, creative premise. As "Paprika" excels with a very strong plot, it falls flat on its lack of coherent storyline and dimensional characters. Not to mention, the recurring melody of the film is a bit too Japanese-cliche cheesy for my taste.
However, "Paprika" is still strong enough to keep your eyes open. The plot keeps the film alive long enough for the audience to stay interested.
