Review circa 2007.
Paprika was also viewed and was also surreal, if more overtly. It started well with a fantastic dream sequence, and the march of the bizarre was grand when combined with great music. However it really wasn't all that clever. It even began to regress as it continued and became dull as the narrative struggled. Thinking of the overwrought Xavier character though will always make me smile. Something about technology invading dreams. Uh-ha.
