Psychologically smart anime film, intertwined with some really crazy imagery that is both imaginative and well... creepy! A prime influence on Inception is very significant from this film. Yes, the visuals do often take front seat over the actual plot, but it's still a uniquely strange and beautiful film in my eyes.

Of course, Inception will always be a more approachable film for the masses, but anyone daring to go beyond the limits of the whole dreamworld crossover concept should check out Paprika.
