Review of Paprika (2006) by Tamatai N — 21 Jul 2011
With stunningly gorgeous animation and a plotline that falls somewhere between Inception and The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnasis, this is one hell of an intense acid-trip of a film. I found a few touches to be rather cheesy and cringe-inducing (the romantic sub-plot is sweet, if somewhat corny and unnessesary), but overall this is a visual wonder and something worth checking out if you value your imagination at all.
