Saw this last night on TV and have to say it's certainly going to be a lot harder to follow if you over analyse what is going on in the film or try to make some kind of connections relating to the plot. I would suggest letting your mind forget all the rules and laws of physics watching this and your have a much better experience all round.
It's a clever film and throws up a lot of questions because we are effectively computers in our own rights ie the brain has the ability to have the imagination and we are running to a small degree on electricity and it poses the what if that if you could enter someone's dreams or even look at them does this give you the right to tamper or for that effect play with dreams as if they are toys.
The ethical questions that Paprika threw up to me where interesting and the film made me at any rate think that are some things science as a whole should not attempt to play God with and our dreams are one of them.
