Review of Paprika (1959) by Georgieboy M — 14 Feb 2012
Visionary, evocative, mind-blowing... I could list many words to illustrate how perfect this movie is, but you just have to see it for yourself. it's one of those mindf*ck type experiences that requires a few viewings for it to make sense.
it's a massive work of art that celebrates both animation and cinema. Satoshi Kon may be gone, but Paprika will be watched for generations to come (in case you couldn't tell, this is one of my all-time favorites).
