Review of Papillon (1973) by Nadeem M — 06 Mar 2008
Worthy adaptation of the book and gives a good insight into the way French prisoners were treated in that era. If you can be bothered though, read the book - it's much better and gives a fuller insight into Henri Charriere's ordeal, although it's hard to comprehend what it must have been like.
..years in solitary confinement...you have to have been there...an incredible true story.
