An extremely hard and difficult film to watch.
You'll always have the feeling it will somehow taste sweeter in the following minutes but never does.
It's way overlong ; some sequences could have easily been cut shorter.
Still, "Papillon" remains one of the most gruelling and well-made prison dramas of all time.
