This movie is one of the great prison dramas.Another story based in truth. A must see. Talk about determination. Probably next to Bullitt, McQueen's finest role.Very gripping and well told story of one mans unstoppable quest to escape the infamous french penal colony "Devils Island".
A wonderfully filmed detailed movie filled with wonderful acting by McQueen and Hoffman!
