Papillon (1973) -- [6.5] -- Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman make friends at a French penal colony. Decent performances, good score by Jerry Goldsmith, but not particularly rewarding in the end. I think the later "Midnight Express" tells a much more harrowing story.
