Review of Paper Towns (2015) by Adam K — 25 Jul 2015
This movie was ALMOST as beautiful as the book. But I've found if I read the book before I see the movie I don't love the movie as much. But if I read it after I love both almost equally. The first part of the movie I wasn't sure I was going to love it mostly cause, "Nothing happens like you imagine it will" and it seemed like a sappy love story when it's mostly not.
It's funny how things can be so similar yet different at the same time. It was close to the book which I liked and it teaches you how to move with life after leaving and how not to leave your life.
It had a brilliant ending that leaves you thinking, which I personally find enlightening. Definitely give it the time of a day again.
