Review of Paper Towns (2015) by Saitou Y — 25 Sep 2015
A little bit surprising. Came expecting another John Green love story, left with a great coming of age message. Was it perfect? Not quite. The sudden change in message was brilliant, but relied a lot on the surprise, and almost left me a little disappointed that I didn't get what I expected.
Also wasn't the best moviemaking technique. At the same time, the central message was excellent(especially for someone like me, who just finished high school), and the young actors played their characters quite well.
Despite its flaws, still quite a good movie.
