Review of Paper Towns (2015) by Milomakromallis — 17 Aug 2015
This movie was painfully boring, pretentious and totally cringe worthy. For several scenes I'd find my self squirming at smarminess of the poorly cast unrealistic two leads. It has the emotional worth of a trodden on turnip; the script feels like it written by a 17 year old girl with delusions of having an interesting story more notably is the agonisingly predictable directing from Jake Schreier.
A real shame considering his last picture was Robot & Frank. Cliche after cliche helped violate this picture along side its aimless direction, much like a mentally handicapped child lost in a super market.
Do not watch this movie if you want to enjoy at least a decent bit of cinema.
