Review of Paper Towns (2015) by Bucky B — 27 Jul 2015
Overall I was disappointed in the movie. I read the book and I really enjoyed it (minus the ending). I understand that its a two hour movie and they couldn't of actually of had Q take the two weeks plus that it took him to piece all the clues together like it did in the book but I still feel like the whole thing was rushed.
I think in the movie preview "based" should be in quotations because there were to many differences from the book and the movie. I would say the thing I liked least about the movie was that Lacey asked Ben to prom because I was that nerdy kid in high school and that would never ever ever ever happen and we all know it.
The part I liked most about the movie was the ending was an upgrade from the book. Overall I am giving this movie 2 stars because if you read the book and enjoyed it I don't think you will like the movie.
I think this movie is really only for 13 year old girls. On a side note, Q should be happy he isn't with Margo, Margo doesn't believe in going to college and getting a job so that pretty much means she wants to be a homeless drug addict haha.
