Took 3 kids to see it, 5, 8 and 12 and we all loved it. Easy story to follow for little ones but complicated enough sub-text about Life, sadness, resilience and mates (or bullies) to be interesting for adults - especially with a cast like this.
Great fun. Oh - forgot to mention the terrific bush setting and scenery and Sydney and Tokyo scenes, too.
