Review of Paper Planes (2014) by Joel A — 20 Feb 2015
A charming new kids film that isn't a tool for merchandising & mass production but a nice thoughtful film that Australian children should see more of.
The story of a young Aussie boy beginning his fascination with flying paper planes & the opportunities that arise for him to compete.
His struggles at home with his depressed father & the recent loss of his mother. This film is simple & stirring, you genuinely feel & draw to the characters. This is a such a fresh breath of air for Australia Films & children's cinema anywhere.
