Review of Paper Moon (2013) by Frederick M — 12 Aug 2010
An excellent film. A young girl and a bible salesman con people for money and of course very soon learn to depend on each other. Tatum O'Neal won the Oscar for what is a very big 'supporting' role. She's on screen most of the film. She is still the youngest person to have ever won the Oscar for supporting actress.
The movie is in black and white which perfectly captures the bleak mid-western landscapes of the 1930s. The best depression era movie since Grapes of Wrath.
