Review of Paper Moon (2013) by Jun K — 20 Apr 2012
One of the best film about the depression era (First being The Grapes of Wrath, of course), and the best road trip film with lots of heart. The story is about a con-artist who gets a responsibility to take an orphaned child to her aunt.
The child isn't as innocent or dumb; she is better con-artist than he is. dialogue and performance r great; the chemistry between Ryan and Tatum O'Neal is just extraordinary n so memoriable (real father n daughter btw).
Tatum O'Neal is so good; she makes this film work and intriguing. One of my fav films are Leon: The Professional, and Natalie Portman gives one of her best performances, but Tatum O'Neal def tops it!! If you haven't seen it, you should def check it out! ^.
